Day 18 – Fresh Watermelons

One day a year ago a friend and I were out biking on a beautiful fall day when this pickup truck drove by us. It had a box full of produce and I got the biggest kick out of it… only I didn’t have my camera. I thought, “Well, that one will just have to live in my memory,” and I tried to paint a picture of it in my mind.

Lo and behold one week later I was at a local store—one that I never go to and had decided on a whim to check it out that day—when I saw the box that had been in the pickup truck AND I had my camera!

This is that shot of what was in the pickup.
